In comparison with triple-pane insulated glass, LandVac vacuum insulated glass has only a quarter of its thickness while managing a much better U-value. The thickness of LandVac is only 8.3 mm, which is equivalent to the single pane glass，making it possible to retain the original window frame while replacing the old single pane glass in historical buildings with LandVac.Ideal for historical window restoration, old thin structure house window replacement. Meanwhile, the Visible Light Transmission of LandVac is better than 70%, allowing for great visual experience.
Completely retains the high strength, impact resistance ans other safety characteristics of tempered glass with its unique FLAS Flexible Lead-free Alloy Sentry technology.
The surface stress and fragmentation test of LandVac conform with the standard of tempered glass with wind pressure resistance up to 7200 Pa, fully meeting the requirements of the national standard.
The U-value of LandVac is as low as 0.4W/(m2•K).
Thanks to the high vacuum chamber of LandVac, which effectively blocks the thermal transmission,the thermal insulation performance of LandVac is 2-4 times better than insulated glass and 6-10 times better than single pane glass, meeting heat transfer requirements on windows, doors and curtain glass of nearly zero energy buildings and passive houses.

Thanks to the high vacuum chamber of LandVac , which effectively blocks the sound transmission, LandVac has remarkable acoustic properties against high penetrative medium and low-frequency noises such as traffic and construction noises， much better than that of insulated glass.
LandVac effectively eliminates the condensation in the vacuum chamber. Meanwhile, the high thermal resistance property significantly lowers the dew point of the LandVac surface as well.
Furthermore, unlike insulated glass, whether it’s mounted horizontally or at an angle, the U-value of LandVac remains constant, which ensures excellent energy-saving effect，especially suitable for skylights, sunroom, daylighting roof, and applications in other special spaces.
By using flexible edge sealing materials, LandVac overcomes the seal failure problem caused by fragile sealing materials especially in the environment with big temperature difference between the inner and outer glass surfaces. Moreover, with the assistance of built-in high efficiency getter material, it can sustain a high level of vacuum for a long time.
CTI testing concludes that the metal sealing material is lead-free, hazard-free, and food-grade safe.
By replacing the old glass with LandVac while retaining the original window frame, the performance of the window in thermal and sound insulation and anti-condensation has been improved significantly. Thus, the whole building’s energy efficiency and comfort level of the residents will be increased.
