Q: What is the difference between "One-Step" and "Two-Step" vacuum glass production?
A: One-Step Method: The exhaustion (evacuation) and sealing processes are performed simultaneously inside a vacuum chamber. The product is completed in a single cycle.
Two-Step Method: The glass edges are sealed first. Then, air is extracted through a dedicated suction hole or side-exhaust, followed by a second sealing process.
Comparison: Because the two-step method involves cumbersome procedures and lower efficiency, the vast majority of modern manufacturers (including LandGlass) have transitioned away from it in favour of the more efficient one-step process.
