On September 17, 2020, over 50 project and technical leaders from several dozens of construction units in Luoyang came to LandGlass’ tempered vacuum insulated glass manufacturing base in Yibin to visit the world’s only horizontal continuous vacuum glass automated production line, experience the outstanding thermal and sound insulation performance of LandVac®, and learn more about the applications of LandVac® in construction projects.
In the exhibition hall, a LandVac® performance comparison display cabinet fully revealed the superior heat insulation performance of LandVac®: The U-value of LandVac® can be as low as 0.4 W / (m2. K), which is a quarter of ordinary insulation glass and one half of the three-pane insulation glass while it weighs 50% less than three-pane insulation glass. In addition, the ultimate sound insulation is another important property of LandVac®. The weighted sound insulation of LandVac® exceeds 39dB, keeping the noises and chaos of the city out of the windows. Moreover, the scene-based noise reduction enhancing technology can maximize the sound insulation effect by taking targeted measures based on noise background analysis, customized technological solutions, and comprehensive approaches. Accompanied by Li Yanbing, the Deputy General Manager of LandGlass, the group of people observed the manufacturing process of LandVac®; Jiang Ligong, the Sales Director of LandVac®, also gave the visitors a detailed introduction on the development history of LandVac®, its performance data, and the results of LandVac® applications in both domestic and overseas projects. LandVac® now has been widely used by many well-known companies worldwide, including Schott AG in Germany, Velux in Denmark, Phononics in the USA, Country Garden, and the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design. When the comparison results of two major LandVac® application projects, Luoyang Innovation Building and Erlitou Site Museum of the Xia Capital in Luoyang were revealed: the on-site discussion became robust and enthusiastic.
At present, with the gradual increase of the national requirements to building energy conservation and implementation of more building energy-saving related standards and incentives, vacuum insulated glass has found more applications in the ultra-low and near-zero fenestration systems. LandGlass will continue to strengthen the collaboration with other design and construction units by fully utilizing its strengths and experiences in the industry to promote the application of vacuum insulated glass and sustainable development of China’s green power!
