The energy retrofit project for historic timber-framed windows in France successfully combines heritage preservation with modern energy efficiency by using high-performance LandVac Titanium Vacuum Insulated Glass. This project achieves a perfect balance between performance and aesthetics, blending tradition with modern technology.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Daniel, who chose LandVac Titanium Vacuum Insulated Glass to replace the traditional glass in his wooden windows. By selecting our high-performance vacuum insulated glass, Daniel not only improved the thermal comfort of his home but also significantly enhanced insulation and energy efficiency. With this upgrade, the thermal transmittance  (U-value) was reduced from 1.42 W/m²·K to 0.92 W/m²·K, all while preserving the original wooden frames.
